Koru Art Attack

This week we have been learning to draw Koru, to help us when we make our Kowhaiwhai patterns.

Art Workshops

On Monday, the Room 1 team showed us yet again what talented artists they are, by producing some amazing pictures at the Art Workshop.  I think they even blew themselves away with what they produced.  This is a good lead into our Maori Art Attack next week.

Co-operative Learning Challenges in Room 1

We have had a great time working in small groups completing co-operative group challenges.  The first challenge we did was a co-operative jigsaw puzzle.  Mrs B was very proud of how we worked together in our teams to create our puzzles, and then we joined other groups to help them complete their puzzles.  The second activity was to work out which flowers different Orges liked.  This was quite tricky, but we demonstrated our perseverance skills and solved the problem in our teams.
